I have a question - What's the best way to start a Friday Morning ?

That's right, it's to sleep in until 8:30am and then go cycle for 2hours in the scorching heat!

Reality aside, Friday's ride was quite peaceful and obviously fun! Hopped on the saddle without any type of plan in mind of what I'll be doing in that cycle, I just did whatever came to my mind. And this shouldn't only be practised when cycling or doing any other type of sport, you should follow your mind (duhh!) every once in a while!

Why plan all the time? That's no fun! Go with the flow!

Yes, surprisingly there were no laps either.

Indeed, it is totally possible to do 50km (49.9km) without lapping the same road for 10 times.

Keep shining Gozo!

Thankfully and rather sadly, Gozo's weather has shifted towards the excruciating and unpleasant sort (for morning cyclist, such as myself). Don't get me wrong, I'm totally cool for the sunny weather but it gets unbearable when you're trying to climb a hill, such as Dwejra, which is quite long and VERY open (sun's everywhere) at 25 degrees of heat at a constant gradient of 10-14 degrees!

Luckily, the wind picked up at some point of the ride and it was the perfect combination of sunny and chilly atmosphere.

For you people with an OCD for rounding numbers.

FORGIVE ME FOR NOT ROUNDING IT 50KM! I TOO HAVE THAT OCD. I TOO WANT TO BREAK STRAVA NOW.
