Cold Start

IT WAS COLD. Cycling at 6:30am on a semi-windy, cloudy, sun-less and very early day will always be cold but Wednesday's start had me shivering until about 7:15am! Anyway, I proceeded to take advantage of my early start by doing some fun hills such as Dwejra, Zebbug, Nadur, Xaghra and Mgarr as there weren't any cars about.

Cycling down Dwejra was absolutely serene, not a single soul at the bottom but the road was wet with sea water (VERY DANGEROUS). Cycling up Dwejra was also a lot of fun, no cars wanting to throw you over the ledge by overtaking at mad-man bends. It was perfect.

I also did 'Gozo's Three Hills' which are - Zebbug, Xaghra and Nadur. I didn't really notice I had climbed up them all until I ended the ride, probably because I do those hills quite frequently...But I figured it would be a nice addition to highlight the fact that I cycled up all 3 hills in one ride in just post (not much sense).

That was about it for Wednesday.
