Alarm

I didn't really plan to wake up at 6am but somehow...for some very odd reason, I did. Usually my alarm is set to go off at 7am for most days but since I've started summer, I've always been an hour or so earlier than my alarm....which is alarming (pun intended), in a good way.

I always forget to switch it off so it has  become a very common occurrence that whilst in the midst of enjoying a tranquil cycle, out of nowhere I hear a siren beeping continuously at an ungodly and very annoying level of sound. This would obviously require me to stop cycling and switch it off, which can get very tedious especially if you're in a situation where you can't stop your bike.

I have to start keeping it in mind to switch that damn thing off before I take start my cycle!

Today's cycle was extremely peaceful and calm, the weather was perfect, it wasn't warm nor cold and there was virtually no wind at all. This obviously meant that it was the perfect day to take out my time trial bike, the Cervelo P5 (pictured below)!

And so I did!!!

..duh...

Went out without a plan so I was just cycling wherever my legs took me. Started off with the common route to Gharb and Ta' Pinu and then went to Qala to enjoy a few laps on the well-paved straight road where the P5 really shines.
