What a wonderful day.

Woke up at 5am this fine morning but to my wonderful surprise, I had no bike lights installed on my bike so I had to wait...and wait and wait patiently until the sun had shone a bit more. Thus why my ride began at 5:45am...I do however have to go out and buy some bicycle lights! I also need to see if there's some kind of wind deflector for bikes on the market as that would have came in handy for today's ride.

Onto the ride....As I said above, I took off at 5:45am, obviously, headed to Qala and met up with the other cyclists, the usual bunch except there was a new Italian cyclist today, a nice man! We cycled for about 35km and started to disband slowly but I knew that I had to make today's ride long simply because I woke up at 5am and well...I couldn't let that opportunity go to waste! Also for the simple reason that the wind was somewhat on my side because I hardly even sweat during the whole 4hr ride! Climbed up some hills, amassing 995m of ascension, yeah seriously another 5m PLEASE...TECHNICALLY, my SIGMA computer states that I climbed up 1034m so...STRAVA must be bugged or something...however the SIGMA computer also says that I only cycled for 99.5km, yeah..

IT'S COMPLICATED.

Today's ride was a continuation of my "long distance" series of rides but I am very far away from my ultimate goal of cycling 200km in one go, but I'm sure I'll be able to nail that goal very soon!

Oh and, TURN DOWN THE WIND JUST A LITTLE BIT PLS!
