Breaking the Law
Saturday (24th of September) was quite a short yet very effective and enticing ride. Started off late for me as usual...met up with the buddies in Ramla where they had already started cycling the Ramla hill for I don't know how many reps. Anyway, whilst with them, I managed to squeeze in about 7 repeats since each ascent of that hill is around 100 meters and I climbed a total of 735m. Nothing that interesting happened since it was too early for any king of the road to be roaming the streets so that's that.
The title....why "Breaking the Law" you ask?
Technically....Malta's national speed limit is 80km/h, but me and my unstable red thing on two very thin (approximately 23mm) wheels managed to reach 84.19km/h going down Ramla's winding road (Max Speed on my Sigma ROX 10.0 Computer) Strava tracked 82km/h but still that's above 80km/h so yeah...fun stuff! Also very dangerous but still...
And why "Slowing Down"?
Simply because I'll be starting my 2nd year at University from next Tuesday (27th of September) so I'll obviously be posting less and will be cycling less too. I'll probably fix that by going mad on the turbo trainer but expect a downturn!
